I am honored to receive an endorsement from Right to Life for State Representative in District 89. I will always promote life!
I was also endorsed in 2022 and 2024, and have been a strong advocate for unborn children, mothers, fathers, and families.
As your State Representative, I will continue to take every opportunity to boldly stand for unborn babies, moms, and dads, just like I’ve done for freedom and parental rights.
Background
In 2022, Right to Life took the rare step of halting the incumbent Republican commissioner’s pro-life endorsement because Ottawa County was promoting material on their website that aligned with pro-abortion organizations like Planned Parenthood, and radical content promoting early childhood sexuality. I won the 2022 primary election with 74% of the vote.
I was endorsed again in 2024 during my re-election run. I went on to win that primary with 57% of the vote, and the general election with 74% of the vote.
While serving as Chairman of the Ottawa County Board of Commissioners, the Board passed the Resolution to Promote Life and took steps to promote pro-life, pro-family policies at the county level.
This included working with Protect Life Michigan to support moms and dads attending Grand Valley State University, and ending the county’s promotion of Planned Parenthood-aligned content online and to schools.
I will always prioritize and protect life.
