I am a strong defender of the Second Amendment.

The right to self-defense is given by God, and belongs to all law-abiding citizens so they can protect themselves, their families, and others.

I fully support the Heller Supreme Court decision, which affirms the right to keep and bear arms is an individual right, not a collective right.

If we don’t exercise our rights, we will lose them. I carry a firearm every day, and teach my kids about responsible gun ownership.

Key Policy Positions

  • Constitutional Carry: Michigan must become a Constitutional Carry state. Law-abiding citizens do not need a government license to exercise their Second Amendment rights.
  • Reciprocity: I support continued issuance of Concealed Pistol Licenses (CPLs) for anyone who wants one for out-of-state reciprocity until national reciprocity is passed.
  • Non Infringement: I oppose gun registration schemes, red-flag laws, so-called “assault weapons” bans, or any restrictions that punish responsible gun owners.
  • Proven Record: I am a lifetime member of Michigan Coalition for Responsible Gun Owners, Great Lakes Gun Rights, and Michigan Open Carry. I have a long-standing, unwavering commitment to protecting the Second Amendment.

I will never vote for any anti-gun schemes or fall for attempts to erode our constitutional rights.
